I took private lessons with Slade a few months prior to moving to Central America. Slade is an outstanding teacher and has developed an excellent method of teaching. He knows exactly how the brain works with languages. For years I had been looking for a place where I could attend Spanish classes, I didn't want a formal lecture , but a more intimate and interactive class, well , the Spanish academy is the absolute best , classes are intimate, interactive, fun, crazy and cover so much of the language in a diversified way , you learn all sorts of ways to say one thing , you get to learn different approaches through the method of layers that Slade uses ….. Slade's unique approach to teaching Spanish gets you speaking Spanish really fast, the classes are fun, the take home manual is excellent and there is regular engagement involving sharing of tips and material to practice. I had tried language apps before and whilst useful they are no substitute for personal teacher led lessons. I recommend The Spanish Academy to all my friends.

Slade is the most phenomenal teacher I have ever had! His techniques are incredible and allow even the hardest concepts to appear easy and the course is so cleverly thought out and executed! As an added extra there are his unreal dad jokes which really just bring the whole thing together!! 10/10!!
